Ardmore Main Street

Mission
The Ardmore Main Street Authority is established as a working force to assist the economic growth and well-being of Ardmore, preserve and improve the historic value of downtown, create a quality business environment for both business owner and customer, and be an ever-expanding informational resource for the downtown area.

Vision
Downtown Ardmore will be the economic, cultural, entertainment, and tourism center in Southern Oklahoma, providing a physically attractive, thriving, and historic center for working, shopping, and living. Downtown Ardmore will set the standard for creating an environment to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life for citizens.

Approach
The Main Street approach is a comprehensive revitalization process that focuses on all aspects of a commercial business district. Main Street successfully integrates a practical management strategy with the physical improvement of buildings and public spaces, aggressive promotion and image building, and the economic development of the area. The approach fosters a long-term management of change and growth.
